Our Story
ABOUT TEENS HUB TANZANIA
Teens Hub Tanzania was founded in late 2023 with a vision to empower teenagers by giving them safe spaces to express themselves, develop skills, and engage positively with their communities. It is a fully registered national organization, officially registered on 03 October 2025, with registration number 00NGO/R/8574, confirming its full legal status to operate across Tanzania. The organization focuses on three main areas: youth empowerment, mental health, and education. The organization’s origin stems from observing teenagers with immense potential being overlooked, unsupported, or misunderstood. Our executive director noticed peers struggling with mental health challenges, early pregnancies, lack of guidance, and substance abuse. These experiences inspired the creation of a safe, youth-led platform for teenagers to thrive. Since 2023, the organization has implemented multiple initiatives, including school workshops, blood donation campaigns, orphanage visits, mentorship programs, and publishing efforts through the Teenhood book line. Teens Hub Tanzania operates with a youth-led, volunteer-driven, and department-based approach, emphasizing peer support and community engagement.
